So here are the numbers (bottom)! We're thinking Water World, Easy hike, and a couple of ET dinners. Of course if you're coming in early/leaving late there are lots of other options for small groups.
What we need to know now is---who is coming for sure?
(I need to get Water World set up and the dinners and will need to know numbers)
Rhonda (thank you!!) got it all set up with the Embassy Suites. I"ll post that on the blog soon: http://hopereunion2010.blogspot.com/
Weather in Denver for late July/early August is:
July 88/58 August 85/56
(Personally I would say that it could also go up into the high 90s during that time but as you all know it's a dry heat) The lows are about right though so you may need a long sleeve shirt or light jacket for evening.
7 people voted for--Water World in Denver
7--Denver Zoo
6--Easy hike in the foothills
5--Children's Museum
5--Wild Animal Sanctuary (not in Denver)
3--Denver Aquarium
3--Butterfly Pavilion
3--Six Flags Amusment Park

Are we close to the mountains?
I was asked this today and the answer is YES! :-) I can see the mountains from my upstairs windows and it's the same in Denver. They are super close--Denver is at the foot of the Front Range.
If anyone is interested in an easy hike one day we could definitely do that. I'll start researching easy hikes/hikes to do with kids.
